A White Monday

Some photos from today –
I think every school in the state is closed.
Our church office is closed, cuz I’m not there.

Yup, here I am! And no, we can’t shovel the whole driveway,
but we’d been plowed once so I was moving some of the stuff.
I figure shoveling should be even better for me than the treadmill, maybe…
Taken from our driveway.
The arrow is pointing to the main road, way down there.

  1. colleen,it’s BEAUTIFUL. i know you aren’t probably too fond of it after shoveling it. but i haven’t seen snow in 14 years. all we get is rain, rain, and more rain.

  2. Oooh… I’m a little bit jealous! We rarely get real snow in the UK, thanks to the Gulf Stream. (And when we do, the country copes so badly. Half a centimetre and the whole country grinds to a halt!) But it is beautiful, and never fails to remind me of the magical feeling I had as a kid the winter we got five feet and were snowed in for days…Thanks for sharing the pics

  3. I remember snow (not much but…) in England. We lived in Camberley for 3 years back in the early 60’s in the days of The Beatles. It was fun and a great experience.

  4. Hi Colleen,Pretty pictures. I like a little snow; but not that much. Hey, be careful shoveling that snow – you’ll end up with sore shoulders! I can’t believe how tough shoveling snow can be until I get out there & do it. Stay warm.

  5. Hi Colleen. I love your pictures of the snowy landscape. Thank you for shooting them. And go EASY with that shovel!

  6. Beautiful pictures, I am desperate for snow here. I’m glad you like my new picture! No worries about my question Sri answered it.
